Welcome to the Shaw Temple Church website. Our motto “Seeing, Speaking, and Serving the Same Vision,” expresses who we are. We are commanded by Christ to go teach and make disciples. The transformation and spiritual growth of individuals is an outgrowth of the work we do at Shaw. We work diligently to bring people to Christ, to demonstrate the glory of God through worship, to show the love of Christ through fellowshipping together, and to disciple those who are within the body of Christ.

In our family you will find a warm, welcoming church where we commit our time, talents, and treasures to reaching, cleansing, teaching, loving, and serving our members and the community at large. Ongoing opportunities to learn and share the gospel, to learn how to disciple others, and to learn how to apply biblical principles in our daily lives are the basis of our training provided through the various church ministries. YEAR'S EVE WATCH NIGHT SERVICE
The New Year's Eve Watch Night Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31st at 10:00 PM in the sanctuary.
Everyone is encouraged to attend.
Youth Bible Study
Youth Bible Study for ages 13 - 18 will be held on Wednesday, December 17th at 7:00 PM. Come get a lesson relating common themes from Hip Hop music with God's word. This will be our last youth bible study of the year! Light Christmas refreshments will be served.

New Operating Hours
The new operating hours are Tuesday
/ Thursday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 10:00
AM to 2:00 PM, and 2nd Sundays for one hour immediately following
the 11:00 AM service.
A DAY IN MY SHOES MINISTRY
A Day in My Shoes Ministry will be providing food and other items to be community during this holiday season. Any contributions / donations will be greatly appreciated. The following items are needed: blankets, coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, bottled water, bread (white / wheat), sandwich meats, snacks, and cash donations will be accepted.

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals are scheduled for the following Tuesdays (December 2, 9, 16, and 18) from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM with the final dress rehearsal on December 20th. The Christmas program will be held on Sunday, December 21st at 3:00 PM.

MEMORIAL RIBBONS
Ribbons may be purchased in memory of loved ones for $3.00 each or 10 for $25.00. All proceeds will to the African Missions trip. An order form will be found in your church bulletin.
Shaw Temple's Wellness Ministry
The Wellness Ministry would like to remind you to protect yourself and your family from the Flu this year. The Flu can cause severe illness and hospitalization, especially in babies and the elderly. People with asthma, diabetes and other chronic illnesses are also at risk for severe complications from the flu. There is a vaccine available to protect everyone in your family from the flu. Ask your doctor which vaccine is right for you. It can take 2 weeks for the vaccine to work in your body so do not delay-flu season is fast approaching.
SHAW TEMPLE CHILDCARE
Attention Parents! Childcare is provided Monday through Thursday (evenings) and during the 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM worship services. However, upon immediate conclusion of meetings, bible study, classes and worship services, please go directly to the childcare area without delay to pickup your child / children.
Sunday School is every Sunday @ 9:30 AM. Children’s Church is every Sunday @ 10:45 AM. Youth Services are every 2nd Sunday @ 11AM.
