Mission

The sacred, inspired word tells us what we need to know in order to be saved. God has placed in each heart the desire for relationship and belonging.  Bible study and discussion of God’s revelation has been the key factor in fulfilling these needs. The Old Testament patriarchal family was the first model which later produced the New Testament church pattern. Bible study functions to bring us to Christ, to bring us to maturity in him, and to send us out into the world to witness by our life and deeds to his saving power. The assembly is informal and interactive, with lesson outlines for an inducive look into God’s Word.

Objectives

The objectives impart the ethical and Christ-like teachings of Jesus, and involve the follower in a call to the highest righteousness.  The Bible Studies’ goals are :

  • To provide instruction and life application
  • To provide a safe place for acceptance and compassion
  • To create a platform for evangelistic ministry
  • To facilitate effective discipleship, the discovery of spiritual gifts, and the equipping and training to implement these gifts
  • To encourage and strengthen biblical family values: relationship concerns, racial diversity, generational and cultural differences
  • To provide an individual outreach ministry, which is meaningful and fulfilling, for seekers
  • To provide the Youth “Ambassadors for Christ” Bible Study with an interactive peer group setting and platform for discussion of teen challenges, Christian character-building skills, and mentoring directives
  • To offer a week of  Vacation Bible School for the entire family with stimulating instruction and crafts, worship and fellowship, with the teaming of  the five-fold ministries.
