VISIONARY MOMENTS WITH
PASTOR CRENSHAW

During the Watch Night Service on December 31st, Pastor Crenshaw announced the initial Emailing of his daily (Monday - Friday) Visionary Moments with Pastor Crenshaw to all Shaw Temple members with valid Email addresses.

The first Emailing of the Visionary Moments with Pastor Crenshaw occurred on January 1, 2009. If, you have an Email address and have not received your copy of the Visionary Moments with Pastor Crenshaw, please submit your Email address to the church's administrative staff or sign up below.

NEW MEMBERS CLASSES

The New Members Classes have been scheduled for the following Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM as follows:

1. Class I - Jan. 8, 2009

2. Class II - Jan. 15, 2009

3. Class III - Jan. 29, 2009

New members who have not attended any of the classes will need to attend all 3 classes; however, those who have not completed all 3 classes will need to attend the ones that were missed. All NEW MEMBERS are REQUIRED TO ATTEND the 6 hour course.

"SUPER SATURDAY" NEW MEMBERS CLASS

The next "Super Saturday" New Members Class is scheduled for Sat., Jan. 17, 2009 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the Bertha Howard Bray Hall. Lunch will be served.

The schedule is as follows:

1. Class I - 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

2. Class II - 10:45 AM - 12:30 PM

3. Class III - 12:45 PM - 2:00 PM

Attention All Youths!

Attention All Youths! If you are interested in dance or mime, please remain after the 8:00 AM and/or the 11:00 AM worship on Sun., Jan. 11th to meet the Ministry sponsor.

Wellness Ministry

The Wellness Ministry will have an Asthma Workshop on Sun., Jan. 11th, following the 11:00 AM worship service in the Bertha Howard Bray Hall. Information on childhood and adult asthma will be discussed. A local Asthma and Allergy physician will be available to answer questions about asthma and allergies.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry will meet on Sat., Jan. 17th from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM in the Bertha Howard Bray Hall. Come and meet your new officers and join in on the discussion topic on "Women of the Bible." Light refreshments will be served.

A DAY IN MY SHOES MINISTRY

A Day in My Shoes Ministry will be providing food and other items to the community during this holiday season. Any contributions / donations will be greatly appreciated. The following items are needed: blankets, coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, bottled water, bread (white / wheat), sandwich meats, snacks, and cash donations will be accepted.

LORD'S STOREHOUSE
New Operating Hours

The new operating hours are Tuesday / Thursday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and 2nd Sundays for one hour immediately following the 11:00 AM service.

SHAW TEMPLE CHILDCARE

Attention Parents! Childcare is provided Monday through Thursday (evenings) and during the 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM worship services. However, upon immediate conclusion of meetings, bible study, classes and worship services, please go directly to the childcare area without delay to pick up your child / children.

Sunday School is every Sunday @ 9:30 AM. Children’s Church is every Sunday @ 10:45 AM. Youth Services are every 2nd Sunday @ 11AM.
