Mission & Vision Statement

The Love Doves' Ministry is an exciting and friendly organization, formed in order to stimulate and encourage senior citizens of the church to explore new methods of improving and enjoying themselves as well as engaging in projects which help other groups within the church and elsewhere.

The Love Doves' goals are fourfold, to enjoy CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP and bring joy to those we endeavor to interact with, to TEACH love and self-fullfillment and to mentally stimulate elders through arts, crafts and interesting TRIPS. We aim to SHARE our joys and try to alleviate loneliness and boredom. Our goals are to make long life as peaceful and God-like on earth as it will be in heaven.

METHODOLOGY

Through our Arts & Crafts activities, we create and produce a number of different items which are distributed to various selected charities in addition to the sick and shut ins with attention to special needs as they occur. We take day and overnight trips to interesting and exciting locations. We also undertake ROSA projects and other worthwhile endeavors.

Meeting Dates and Times

We sincerely invite all who may be retired or mature adults to come and be part of our ministry. We range in age from the late 40s to late 90s.

Meetings are on the 1st Wednesday of every month 7:00 PM at the church
